A great client of mine, Lumatek, submitted this ad for the Maximum Yield Annual Media Awards. Lumatek is the worldwide market leader and supplier of Digital Electronic Ballasts to the hydroponics and horticultural industries. If you grow you know. Teaming up with them has been amazing. They have a great vision and are open to utilizing the skill set and forward thinking here at FlavorInnovator.
For this particular ad we were in a bit of a slump. The only asset was the ballast image with no set concept or tag line. We were toying around with the idea of recreating a plant life cycle, but sourcing images for that proved difficult. As I was laying down some ground elements the idea to construct a lush and succulent world came to mind. By doing so we could metaphorically and visually show the audience that Lumatek helps plants flourish. Hope we win that award!
